Baltasis Kiras

BALTASIS KIRAS is an indie/folk/rock band from Vilnius. On 2008 they gathered in Lithuanian Frank Zappa – Liudas Gira square and started playing. Idea of the band’s name came under the name of handbags brand. On 2010 band released debut album “Su Geltonu Snapeliu”, on 2014 released EP “Amerika”. Since then they played in every well-known festival in Lithuania. First of all, members of the band call themselves group of positive minded friends, who feel like in a bird’s flight for a moment. Their music comes from thinking about important people and occasions. It goes together with a feeling, which leads towards home feeling nest. Band compares today’s society to gambling by always being in a rush to achieve something, so their music lets to calm down and remember what is it like to stay human.
