Magic Mushrooms

Magic Mushrooms are a group of young musicians seeking to create a musical alternative and experimenting in the borderland of funk, drum’n’bass, hip-hop and jazz. Instead of their first repertoire, largely consisting of funk, hip-hop and jazz originals, as well as covers of other well-known bands’ hits, recently the group offers its fans a far more mature sound. It is given considerable additional power and expression by the two drummers that complement each other onstage. Funk is now augmented with drum’n’bass, jazz and trip hop rhythms, while imaginative use of sound effects adds an alternative, electronic touch to Magic Mushrooms’ music.
