Paulius Sluškonis

Paulius Sluškonis is one of those multitalented artists who refuse to draw a dividing line between sight and sound. He is making equally strong artistic statements in the domains of jazz-influenced electronic music and stylish video manipulations. For a while Sluškonis was probably best known as the member of Kaunas' multimedia art enthusiasts' collective Rüt Rüt. However, his portfolio contains many acclaimed personal works in both audio and video spheres. Recently he has been further establishing himself expressly as an original individual artist (albeit often collaborating with other artists), in effect turning his own name into a recognizable and respected brand. In addition to practical involvement, Paulius Sluškonis finds time to share his rich experience of ‘visualizing’ music in the university setting.
